Looking south towards Padstow, this coastal garden enjoys stunning panoramic views across the Camel Estuary.
The incorporation of weather- and salt-tolerant materials and plants was the main emphasis of the design. Locally sourced Delabole slate paving hugs the house and leads down to a snaking hardwood boardwalk and a polished concrete seating platform. Oversized boulders push up through the planting to break the horizon of decking. Amongst the plants chosen are Agave americana, rosemary, Agapanthus, Coprosma and Kniphofia.
