The focal point of this long, slender, west-facing space is a colonial-style garden house with veranda, nestled amongst the surrounding trees. The paisley-shaped sandstone setts lead into and frame the lawn, with the informal planting scheme drawing on an eclectic mix of species. Closer to the property, forged ironwork frames, which support a mature wisteria, add decorative interest and echo the Victorian-inspired design of the garden building.
